“Tracing the Musical Roots” is a specially designed programme for students in which the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and conductor Rupert Woo bring Chinese history and culture to musical life. Comprising traditional festivals, ritual etiquette and core values, the performance guides students through the rich instrumentation and unique characteristics of a full-scale Chinese orchestra in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.
